Client Background: Pop-up Screens, an events company, aimed to launch a brand-new Christmas cinema event at the newly renovated Crystal Palace Subway, a historic listed venue recently opened to the public.
Challenge: This was Pop Up Screens’ first event of its kind, spanning two weekends of Christmas film screenings, and they needed to generate awareness and ticket sales.

Solution: We managed Pop-up Screens’ Facebook and Instagram campaigns, building custom and lookalike audiences using previous mailing list data, and focusing on a hyper-local audience. We ran pre-awareness ads followed by conversion campaigns closer to the event.
Results: The campaign achieved a 12:1 (1240%) Return on Ad Spend, and was the source of 90% of all sales, with multiple sold-out screenings, surpassing the client’s sales targets for year one of the event.
